Ethnic Albanian loyal to Serbia killed in Kosovo

A member of the ethnic Albanian majority has been shot dead in the southern province of Kosovo in Serbia.

Local reports described him as loyal to the Serbian authorities.

About forty Serbs and ethnic Albanians, loyal to the government in Belgrade, have been killed in Kosovo in the past year.

The underground Kosovo Liberation Army has claimed responsibility for several previous attacks.

In another development, a building housing families of Serb policemen, was sprayed with bullets.

The attacks come as representatives from the Serb community in Kosovo met with the Yugoslav President, Slobodan Milosevic, to demand extra protection.
