Thousands demonstrate in Bangkok to boost baht
Thousands of people have taken part in a demonstration in the Thai capital, Bangkok, in support of a nationwide campaign to boost the government's revenue and support the national currency, the baht. The campaign -- jointly organised by the government and the military -- is aimed at urging people to exchange foreign currency to boost the nation's weakened finances and support the baht.
