OIC condemns terrorism in Algeria
Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Secretary-General Azeddine Laraki has expressed deep concern over the massacres in Algeria, the Saudi news agency SPA reported on Saturday. He said in a press statement that the OIC "condemned these acts, whose atrocity has rarely been matched in recent history, stressing that Islam and all revealed religions categorically reject such acts and forbid them whatever their motives and justifications," the agency reported. He described Algeria's willingness to cooperate with the European Union as a positive step, and expressed the OIC's readiness to contribute to these efforts.
