Letter bomb injures woman in Basque Country
A woman was slightly injured in the Basque Country town of Vitoria on Saturday when a device exploded in a post box at the house of an army corporal, Spanish radio reported. It said the device, which had been placed in the letterbox, exploded just after 1200 gmt. The corporal, who was not named by the radio, used to be the bodyguard for General Jaime Garcia, the governor of Basque Country province of Alava. The injured woman was treated in hospital for cuts to her face and legs, the radio said.
