Former Prime Minister of Niger charged after release from detention
The authorities in Niger have charged the former Prime Minister, Hama Amadou, with forming a militia within a political party. Mr Amadou was released yesterday on charges connected with an alleged plot to assassinate President Ibrahim Bare Mainassara.
