Seven robbers lynched in India

Police in the eastern Indian state of West Bengal say seven people were beaten to death by an angry crowd as they tried to run away after robbing a bank.

Reports say the crowd caught the robbers after their getaway car overturned and they tried to escape on foot.

They'd stolen two-thousand dollars from a bank in a village near Calcutta.
