ITALY WILL ATTEND GANGES BARRAGE PROJECT CONFERENCE
The Italian Prime Minster, Romano Prodi, says Italy will attend a conference of donar countries planning to help the Ganges barrage project in Bangladesh. The project has been proposed to help solve the country's river-water problems. Mr Prodi made the announcement at the end of his two-day tour of Bangladesh.
