Hizbollah bombs injure Israeli soldiers and SLA militiamen

Four Israeli soldiers and two militiamen from the pro-Israeli South Lebanon Army were injured by a roadside bomb near Ain Ibil in southern Lebanon.

The bomb exploded as their patrol went past.

Hizbollah guerrillas said they placed the bomb -- and another device which went off earlier near Beit Yahoun in the western sector of the area under Israeli control, wounding another SLA militiaman.

After the first incident, Israeli forces shelled and strafed several villages in the area, hitting a Lebanese woman who was taken to hospital with shrapnel wounds.
