Olympic bomber sentenced in Sweden

A court in Sweden has found the man known locally as the Olympic Bomber, Mats Hinze, guilty of a series of arson and bomb attacks at sporting venues last year.

The attacks were part of a campaign to sabotage the country's bid to host the 2004 Olympic Games.

Mats Hinze was arrested last September, the night before Athens was announced as the winning city.

He was about to place explosives near the statue used as Stockholm's Olympic bid logo.
