Prophet insulter jailed

An Israeli court has sentenced a Jewish woman to two years in jail for putting up posters insulting the Prophet Mohammad.

The posters, depicting Mohammad as a pig, which, in Islam, is also considered unclean provoked riots in the West Bank town of Hebron and outrage across the Muslim world.

The woman, Tatiana Suskin, was convicted last month of committing a racist act and harming religious sensitivities.
