British Minister in Pakistan for talks
The British Home Office Minister, Mike O'Brien, is in Pakistan to meet the Pakistan Interior Minister, Chaudry Shujaat Hussain, for discussions on tackling the drugs trade. The British government says that most heroin which reaches western Europe comes from Pakistan and Afghanistan. Mr O'Brien will travel on to India, where talks will focus on immigration, and then on to Bangladesh. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
