Michael Portillo as a Labour MP, Chris Evans to become Director General of the BBC and the Spice Girls movie, Spiceworld, to win the Oscar for Best Film. Any one of these things could happen in 1998 - and you can get good odds on them if you fancy a wager.
Bookmakers in Britain are also offering odds on big political changes: 100/1 that Britain will pull out of the Euopean Union. They even go so far as to offer 10,000/1 that the French Franc or the German Marc will become Britain's national currency.
But what do you predict for 1998? What will happen in the World Cup? Will Prince Charles remarry?
