Vietnam extadites one of America's ten most wanted fugitives
Vietnam has extradited to the United States a Vietnamese-born American man described by the Federal Bureau of Investigation as one of its ten most wanted fugitives. The man, Nguyen Thanh Thang, was charged by the FBI with murder in 1992 after a New York restaurant owner, his wife and three children were shot dead. The American Ambasador in Hanoi, Pete Peterson, has praised Vietnam for its cooperation over the extradition. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
