Iran plane makes emergency landing, all safe
All 113 people aboard an Iranian aircraft have survived an emergency landing in bad weather. The plane was forced to land in marshes near the city of Isfahan after being rerouted from Teheran because of snow, and from Isfahan itself because of thick fog. The Iranian news agency said that a passenger contacted air traffic control by cellular phone to report that everyone was safe. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
