India election threat
Militant separatist organisations in the north-east Indian states of Nagaland and Tripura have called for a boycott of the Indian elections being held in February and March. The National Socialist Council of Nagaland and the All Tripura Tiger Force said there would be serious consequences for anyone contesting the elections or voting.
