India Kashmir greeting

The governor of Indian-administered Kashmir, K V Krishna Rao, has for the first time sent greeting cards wishing a happy new year to each member of the All-Party Hurriyat Conference, the umbrella separatist organisation.

The chairman of the APHC, Omar Farooq, said it was the first time he had received such a message from any Indian leader.
