Pakistan woos Central Asia
The Pakistan government has announced an easing of border controls for tourists and business travellers visiting the country from the former Soviet republics of Central Asia. The Interior Minister, Chaudhury Shujat Hussain, said the decision was aimed at promoting relations with those countries. Among the measures, the issuing of visas would be streamlined.
