Central Asian presidents meet

President Emomali Rakhmonov of Tajikistan is due in Uzbekistan today for talks with President Islam Karimov.

They are expected to sign agreements on co-operation in culture and humanitarian contacts, science, technology, information and health care.

The two presidents are also expected to discuss security in the Central Asia region, particularly in Tajikistan and Afghanistan.
