Tribal leaders in the Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh say they have written to the government suggesting talks on January 15 on the surrendering of their arms. The letter says a list of rebels and their arms will be brought to the meeting when a time and date for a formal handover of the weapons can be aranaged.
