Six arrested for latest Bahrain arson attack

Reports from the Gulf state of Bahrain say six people have been arrested following an arson attack which caused no casualties but destroyed a building.Security officials quoted by local newspapers said the six Bahrainis had admitted carrying out the attack in a western suburb of the capital last week.

The fire caused damage estimated at six million dollars.

More than thirty people have been killed in the last three years in arson attacks, protests and bombings by members of the majority Shi'ite community seeking political and economic reforms from the Sunni-led government.
