UN officials downplay Baghdad attack

United Nations' officials have been playing down the significance of a grenade attack on UN offices in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.

One official said it was an isolated incident; another said damage was minimal and no one was hurt.

The attack happened last night Friday on a building containing the offices of the UN weapons inspectors and the World Food Programme.

It's the second such attack on UN targets in Baghdad in three months and comes after weeks of tension between the Iraqi government and the United Nations over weapons inspections.
