Mir crew replaces faulty computer unit - Tass
ITAR-TASS news agency quoted flight control centre officials as saying the Mir crew have replaced a malfunctioning component in the central computer aboard the station. It said it had learned of the replacement at 0105 Moscow time on Saturday (2205 gmt, Friday) following radio contacts with the orbiting space station. BBC Monitoring (http://www.monitor.bbc.co.uk), based in Caversham in southern England, selects and translates information from radio, television, press, news agencies and the Internet from 150 countries in more than 70 languages. |
