Lesotho PM to retire
The Prime Minister of Lesotho, Ntsu Mokhehle, has said he intends to step down because of poor health. In a BBC interview Mr Mokhehle said he would stand down by the end of January as a leader of the party he launched earlier this year, Lesotho Congress for Democracy. He did not set a date for stepping down as prime minister, but said he would not contest the elections in April. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
