Striking Zimbabwean air controllers replaced by Zambians
The government in Zimbabwe has replaced local air traffic controllers, who are on strike, with substitutes from neighbouring Zambia. The stoppage disrupted regular flights and charter and unscheduled flights were cancelled. Senior aviation staff and the airforce had to operate the control towers.
