Party activists in India hacked to death

Reports from southern India say five Congress party activists have been hacked to death after the bus in which they were travelling was ambushed.

A group of men blocked a road in the district of Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh and used axes to murder their victims.

The attack comes as campaigning continues across India for the forthcoming general elections.
