Libya names a new prime minister
Libya has appointed a new prime minister as part of a government reshuffle. The Libyan News agency said Mohammad Ahmed Al-Manqoush will repelace Abdelmejid al-Qu'ud, who had served as prime minister from 1994. The appointment was decided at the end of a five-day session of Libya's legislative body, the General People's Congress. No reason was given for the change.
