Japan stocks close down again
The Tokyo stock market's benchmark index, the Nikkei average, has closed at its lowest level since July 1995. Correspondents say there are persistent concerns over the health of Japan's economy and financial system and the market is still looking to the Japanese government to do more to prop up the ailing financial sector.
