Spanish Civil Guardsman killed in Ibiza car blast

A Spanish Civil Guardsman was killed when a car exploded in Ibiza on Sunday afternoon, Spanish TV reported.

It said security sources were currently ruling out the possibility that the blast in the outskirts of Ibiza town was the result of a terrorist attack.

Spanish radio said the car was completely wrecked by the blast and the victim was still inside it.
