Tajik defence minister in Teheran
The Tajik defence minister is in Teheran on an official visit aimed at establishing military cooperation between the two countries.
The minister, General Sherali Khayrullayev, is expected to hold talks with his Iranian counterpart Ali Shamkhani today, Sunday.
It is the first visit by a Tajik defence minister to Iran since the Central Asian state became independent in 1991.
