Moldova's Army Chief Sacked for Corruption
The President of Moldova has sacked the country's chief of general staff, General Vladimir Dontul, following a national audit of army sites and barracks. The general, who was also dismissed as Moldova's First Deputy Defence Minister, has been accused of misappropriating army funds and misusing his position.
