One killed, two injured in south Lebanon shelling

One Lebanese civilian was killed and two others were injured on Wednesday when Israeli forces shelled villages in south Lebanon, Lebanese radio reported.

It said that Israeli forces targeted a number of villages adjacent to the central sector of the Israeli-occupied border zone, including Cabal al-Sitar, Wadi al-Saluki, Wadi al-Qaysiyah, and the vicinity of Brashit, Shaqra, Tibnin, Safad al-Battikh, al-Jumayjimah, and Majdal Silm.

"As a result, citizen Abbas Ghazalah was martyred and two others were wounded," the radio said.

The radio said that the Amal resistance movement had called on the Lebanese government "to submit an urgent complaint to the Israel-Lebanon Monitoring Group against Israel for violating the April Understanding and to hold Israel responsible for killing citizen Abbas Ghazalah and wounding two others" .
