Buddhist priest faces sex charge in Tokyo
Japanese police have arrested a Buddhist priest in Tokyo under a new municipal law that bars adults from soliciting sex from juveniles. The priest was detained for allegedly taking a seventeen-year-old schoolgirl to a hotel and paying her for sex. He's the first person to be charged under the new law, which came into effect a week ago. Those convicted face up to one year in prison, or a fine of nearly four thousand dollars.
