Argentina to crack down on football hooligans
Officials in Argentina say they're setting up a special police unit to combat violence among football supporters. The measures proposed include the compilation of a computer data-base to help keep track of known troublemakers. Last week a supporter was shot dead during rioting at the first division match between San Lorenzo and Huracan. And on Sunday, a cameraman was seriously injured when he was hit in the face by a firework during the match in which the River Plate team clinched the Argentine championship.
