Merry Christmas - Happy Holiday?

The British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, like millions of people around the world, has been writing his Christmas cards.

This year he is sending two cards - one for people in what his office calls "Christian Britain" and another which drops the reference to Christmas.

It says simply "Happy Holiday."

Has Christmas lost its meaning?
