Three Israeli soldiers injured in Hezbollah attack

An Israeli officer and two soldiers have been injured in an attack by Hezbollah guerrillas in southern Lebanon.

An army spokesman said one of the injured was seriously hurt.

He said a second roadside bomb was detonated as another patrol moved in to help the wounded soldiers, but no one was injured in the second explosion.

Hezbollah issued a statement in Beirut saying it carried out the attacks west of Marjiayoun, the main town in the zone Israel occupies in the south.
