Mardona in new drugs test controversy

The Argentine football star, Diego Maradona, has failed to turn up for a handwriting test in connection with the investigation into a positive test for drugs in August.

Officials say the test is needed so that they can compare Maradona's writing with a signature on a form filled in when he gave the positive sample.

A ban on Maradona was overturned by a judge in September after doubts emerged over whether the signature was really his.
