New suspected bird flu case in Hong Kong

A new suspected case of bird flu has been reported by Hong Kong' s health department, Hong Kong radio reported on Monday.

It said the latest case involved a six-year-old boy who was in a satisfactory condition in hospital.

The department also confirmed that a 37-year-old man who was treated and discharged had been suffering from the virus.

The radio said there were now nine confirmed cases, plus two suspected.

Three people have died from the virus and another is in a critical condition.
