Indian and British players in World Chess semi-final
Chess: Viswanathan Anand of India and Nigel Short of Britain have reached the semi-finals of the World Chess Championships in Holland. In the quarter-finals, Short beat his Polish rival Michal Krasenkov two-nil. Viswanathan Anand followed up his win over Spain's Alexei Shirov in the first game with a draw in the second.
