Three soldiers survive Colombia's guerrilla attack
The first survivors have emerged from Sunday's rebel attack on an army outpost in the Colombian mountains. Three soldiers say they climbed down the mountain barefoot after hundreds of rebels overran the encampment in a pre-dawn raid. There's been no official confirmation of earlier reports that at least twenty soldiers were killed. The military authorities in Colombia have described the attack as a disaster and say thick fog is continuing to hamper efforts to reach the base by helicopter.
