Farrakhan meets Qaddafi

The black American Muslim activist, Louis Farrakhan, has held talks in Tripoli with the Libyan leader, Muammar Qaddafi.

Libyan television said they discussed the situation of Muslims in the United States.

Mr Farrakhan had earlier called for UN sanctions against Libya to be lifted, saying they were causing the deaths of innocent women and children.

The United States government has criticized his visit.
