Fishermen rescued from ice-floe drifting off Russia

Russian rescue services saved twenty-seven anglers on Saturday night after they were carried into the the Gulf of Finland on an ice-floe, ITAR-TASS news agency reported from the Russian city of St Petersburg.

The rescue operation involved an ice-breaker, a helicopter and servicemen from the military unit stationed near the village, the agency said.
