conditions Turkey's Human Rights Coordination Council on Friday undertook to improve conditions in the country's prisons and detention facilities, Turkish TV reported. The council ordered that new prisons and detention facilities should be constructed in accordance with contemporary standards, and that conditions in existing prisons and detention facilities be improved.
