Second plane crashes in Greece

Military officials in Athens say a Greek Air Force C-One-thirty Hercules transport plane with four or five people on board has crashed north of the city.

The Hercules was on a search mission for the wreckage of a Ukrainian airliner, which came down in bad weather in the mountains near Salonika on Wednesday.

Seventy people were on board the Ukrainian airliner, which was on a flight from Kiev when it disappeared from radar screens.

It was later announced that its wreckage had finally been spotted by a Greek air force helicopter.
