Hostage attacker killed in Moscow

There's been a violent end to a hostage drama at the Swedish embassy in Moscow.

An armed man holding one hostage in a car inside the embassy grounds was killed in a gun battle with Russian special-force police.

His hostage was a Russian security officer who had earlier taken the place of a Swedish embassy employee.

The gunman was demanding a three-million-dollar ransom.
