An airliner carrying more than one-hundred passengers has crashed during a flight from the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, to Singapore.
Initial reports said it came down in a swampy area near the city of Palembang on the Indonesian island of Sumatra.
The plane, a Boeing seven-three-seven, was being operated by Silkair, a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines.
Airline officials said the majority of the passengers were from the region; there were also several from Europe and the United States.
Officials in Indonesia said all those on board are feared dead.
