Search still on for crashed Ukrainian plane

Search parties still have not found the Ukrainian plane which is believed to have crashed in northern Greece on Wednesday with 70 people aboard, Leonid Pogrebnyak, the managing director of Ukraine's Aerosvit airline, said on Thursday, according to Interfax news agency.

"Pogrebnyak said the plane had not been located, and the Greek search parties had changed the area where they were searching," the agency reported from Kiev.

"He added that the search is complicated by bad weather."

The passengers included 25 Ukrainians, 34 Greeks, two Poles and one German. The other eight were the crew, the agency said.
