Nurse accused of killing patient

An Egyptian nurse has been charged with killing a patient to avenge herself on a doctor who is said to have rejected her advances.

The nurse, Aida Nourredin Mohammed Abu Zeid, is also being investigated in connection with the deaths of at least eleven other people.

She is alleged to have injected them with drugs that caused respiratory failure in an attempt to destroy the doctor's career.
