Children malnourished in South America

Figures show that in South America the country with the lowest rate of malnutrition among children under five years old is Chile -- with three percent.

Paraguay, with seventeen percent, has the highest.

UNICEF officials in Brazil say malnutrition among children there is declining but more than ten percent of those under five are still chronically malnourished.
