Family vanishes after shot fired
Paul Ogden
Police say it is unusual for the family to leave their home
A father has disappeared with his three children after a shot was fired on their street following a row between neighbours, police have said.

Paul Ogden, 36, left his home on Joule Street, Blackley, north Manchester, on Tuesday at 2230 BST with children Emma, 13, Rebecca, 8, and Zac, 6.

The family home has been searched, and it does not appear they were planning a trip away.

Police are concerned for the family and have urged Mr Ogden to get in touch.

Det Insp Tony Heslop of Greater Manchester Police said: "Although the family have only been missing for a short time we are concerned for their welfare, we just want to know they are safe and well.

"I would ask anyone who knows where they are, or Paul himself, to call us so we can make sure they are OK."

Cross tattoo

Emma is slim with long dark hair. Rebecca is also slim, with long blonde hair and freckles on her face.

Zac is of thin build with a shaven hair. All of the children are white and live alone with Mr Ogden.

Paul is white, 6ft, with collar length mousy hair and is unshaven. He has a tattoo on his left hand and a cross tattooed on one of his left fingers.

One of his eyes are blue and the other green.

Police say it is very unusual for the family to be away from their home.

They added they were still investigating the circumstances surrounding the disturbance and the shot that was fired.
