Police in Staffordshire have seized the biggest haul of ecstasy tablets ever in the county.
A 25-year-old man appeared at Stoke-on-Trent Magistrates' Court on Monday after officers uncovered more than 6,000 tablets at a house in Sandford Hill.
The man, also from Sandford Hill, was arrested on Friday night and charged with dealing in class A drugs.
It follows another arrest last week when £1,500 worth of heroin was seized.
A man, in his 30s, has been remanded in prison until a future court appearance.
Police said the ecstasy tablets were worth £30,000 and the arrest followed information given by the public on the Crimestoppers phone line.
Inspector Andy Jolley, said: "This shows the value of this anonymous Crimestoppers information, dealing with those people involved in drugs is a major priority to my team."
Chief Inspector Graeme Drayton, said: "Over the last few weeks we have seen operations across the city, including the use of drugs dogs in the city centre, dawn raids in Stoke and this weekend's operation in the south of the city.
"We have already arrested more people than last year for dealing in Class A drugs, and this shows we are constantly improving the ways we target these criminals."
